HON. DENNIS OBUA HMASON PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON THE UGANDA HIGH COMMISSION, KIGALI - RWANDA
Hon. Dennis Obua Hamson pays Courtesy call on the Uganda High Commission, Kigali-Rwanda

While in Kigali, Rwanda on 7/10/2021, Hon. Dennis Obua Hamson, the State Minister for Sports of the Republic of Uganda paid a courtesy call on Uganda High Commission. The Minister was accompanied by Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim-FUFA President, Dr. Ogwel Benard Ptrick-General Secretary of the National Council of Sports, Mr. Kabuura Andrew-Government Media and Ms. Usher Komugisha International Media.

The team is in Kigali to officiate in the FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Uganda Cranes and Amavubi National Football Team of Rwanda scheduled for Today, Thursday 7/10/2021 at 6:00 pm Kigali Time.

Hon. Obua and his delegation were welcomed by the Charge d'Affaires Ms. Anne Katusiime and Mission staff who noted that their visit was a pleasant coincidence with the visit of the U19 Cricket team which had also come to pay homage to the Uganda High Commission after winning 6 trophies qualifying them to the ICC U9 Men's Cricket World Cup 2022 which will take place in West Indies. She thanked the Minister and his delegation for sparing time to pay courtesy call and aplouded the government of Uganda for the continued support to the sports fraternity.

Hon. Obua expressed gratitude to the Uganda High Commission for always standing together with the Uganda teams and hosting them, making them feel at home. He noted that the Mission must be in business noting the previous recently held matches including the East African Cyclists, Basketball, Volleyball and now Cricket and Football, noting that more three(3) tournaments are due, all to be hosted by the Government of Rwanda.
