Document Certification

The Uganda High Commission provides document certification services for a variety of legal documents that Ugandan citizens may be required to submit to the Rwandan authorities for a specific legal reason such as;

  1. Certificate of incorporation for companies registered in Uganda

  2. Land titles for those owning land in Uganda

  3. Academic documents for government schools

  4. Marriage certificates for those who are legally married according to the Uganda civil marriage law and many others;

Certification/Legalization Requirements effective January 2018 
The requirements for certification include:

1. Original documents/certificates/testimonials.
2. Certified copies from  Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Uganda /Rwanda
3. Certified by the Rwanda Consular Office in Uganda.
4. Passport copy or National ID of the bearer of the documents.
5. Rwanda Francs 2000 for each page certified paid in the Bank.
